M.Tech Projects as Internship with Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)

The scheme is designed to nurture the innovation ecosystem of technology deficient MSMEs by involving M. Tech students to take up MSME desired technological projects. Till date, nearly 700 technology students have closely worked in collaboration with 408 MSMEs.
AICTE-Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) Distinguished Visiting Professorship (DVP)

AICTE in association with INAE has launched a DVP programme for the promotion of industry-institute interaction by stimulating knowledge transfer from industry to academia and vice versa to synergize industrial experience with technical education. Under the programme, distinguished visiting professors who are eminent scholars/experts in their field working with an industry or R&D organization will visit the higher educational institutes to deliver mentoring sessions and lectures on the state-of-art of industry and its R&D needs.

Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC)

The AICTE has called for proposals to set up IIPC in technical education institutes in India to reduce the gap between industry needs and academic offerings. The cell would be established in close collaboration between academia and industry.
Research Park

Under this scheme, ACTE provides ₹100 Lakh grant to institutes for setting up of research parks for knowledge transfer to industries. These research parks need to be established in collaboration with the industries.
Innovation Promotion Scheme (IPS)

This scheme aims to provide financial support to institutions for accomplishing technical projects exhibition at Union Territory and State level. Through this scheme, research activities for the industry is promoted for commercialization.
