BIRAC

BIRAC is a not-for-profit Section 8, Schedule B, Public Sector Enterprise, which acts as an I-A interface agency to develop and support the biotech industry in India. It has undertaken impactful initiatives to promote collaborative R&D. BIRAC operates under three strategic roles as, a) financial assistance through investments schemes; b) entrepreneurship development initiatives and c) strategic partnerships (nationally and internationally). BIRAC has a vibrant structure of programmes that systematically encompass every stage of innovation process
